Les Folles de La Fontaine is a walk of about 3 km in the heart of the vineyards of Grande Champagne with a geographical and historical reading of the landscape by your guide.
The departure is at 3pm. Out of respect for the other participants, please be punctual.
The walk lasts about 2 hours through the paths and trails, alternating between walking and discoveries.
You will climb to the second highest peak in the Charente (127m!) and admire the surrounding landscape (70km on a clear day);
You will discover the Folle Blanche, the other grape variety of Cognac.
In the shade of the trees at the foot of the fountain of Combe-Raine, you will taste some of our Pineau de cépage and perhaps come face to face with a Salamander, the emblematic animal of François 1st (1494-1547), King of France born in Cognac.
Finally, on the way back, a visit of the cellars and the distillery (45mn-1h) will be proposed to you with a tasting of our different Cognacs and Pineau des Charentes.
Children will be offered fruit juices and Francine's famous "Galette aux Anis" will be served for a snack.
For sanitary reasons and in order to make the tour more comfortable, we limit groups to a maximum of 20 people.
